PARTNER FOR PIONEERS GmbH was founded in October 2020 by Berit Boerke, an economics graduate, sales expert and networker who knows the logistics market and transport sector inside out. After many years in science and research – focusing on international shipping, cooperative industry logistics and functional location marketing – she spent more than two decades in senior roles in the transport and logistics sector, including as the managing director of a leading intermodal transport network operator and as the sales and marketing director of a European railway logistics firm.  

At the helm of her own company, she aims to improve the image of the logistics industry and champion a rethink throughout the entire sector. Logistics can and must be sustainable; logistics is exciting and plays a fundamental role in the economy. Driving factors for Berit Boerke include new roles within cooperative structures, stakeholder engagement and innovative approaches to solving problems.

As the deputy spokesperson for the supporting members, Berit Boerke is a member of the Management Board of the Pro-Rail Alliance (‘Alliance pro Schiene’), sits on the Advisory Board of Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) and joined the logistics expert group in 2017.
